Snack Stand Requirements
Moore Township Athletic Associations snack stand is managed by the VP, Parents Auxiliary, and other organization volunteers. The proceeds from the snack stand are split with Moore Township to support facility upkeep and Moore Township Athletic Association to invest in our programs, equipment, and training.
In order to maintain these commitments and support of both our facilities and our programs, a commitment to the snack stand is asked of every athlete’s family. Please see below for specific details:
1. A $100 Snack Stand Bond is required per athlete, per season. This is not cashed unless the commitment is not met.
2. Snack stand commitments are per athlete, per season. An individual family’s shift commitment should not exceed 6 shifts per season (Spring / Fall).
3. Head Coaches and Sport Commissioners meet their commitment via their active service to our athletes and our programs.
4. Spring Sports (Baseball, Softball, Soccer) require 2, 2.5 hour shift per athlete.
5. Fall Soccer, Baseball and Softball require 1, 2.5 hour shift per athlete.
6. Fall Cheerleading and Football require 1 game shift and 1 practice shift per athlete.
Active participation by parents and families in all facets of our programs is our goal. Sports Commissioners may exempt snack stand commitments from other active volunteers with agreement from the VP, Parents Auxiliary. We do not want to see these commitments from prohibiting participation in our programs, if you would like to discuss an exception to these requirements due to a special circumstance, please reach out to the VP, Parents Auxiliary, and your Sport’s Commissioner via email prior to the start of the season.
